ReBoot, the first ever completely computer animated television show — one of the many Saturday morning cartoons I watched as a child, and indeed where I chose my nickname for WordPress — has opened a brand new website: ReBoot.com, and it’s the rebirth of the series!
Firstly, Rainmaker Entertainment (formerly Mainframe Entertainment) has announced that they will be creating a trilogy of feature-length ReBoot films! I have one thing to say about this: don’t screw it up, Rainmaker ;) (and: it will be awesome if you get it right :D)
Secondly, a new comic has been released based on the series, and is a collaboration of online fans. I don’t have many details yet as I have not signed up for the service, but if it’s as good as any of the fanfiction I’ve (briefly) read for other series, then this will be fantastic!
If you’re a ReBoot fan, let me know how you feel about the prospects of the movie and the realization of this comic! I want to know what other people’s thoughts are about this.
EDIT: I didn’t realize that they had announced the trilogy back in 2007. Still, I’d like commentary anyway :)
The creators of my favorite cartoon would like to thank a whole bunch of people, as would I for bringing this series back into the spotlight!
